Throughout the years your reunion committee has sought your input
and suggestions on how we can make our reunion
more successful. As a result the date and the
venue for our next reunion has been changed. The
Radisson Resort Hotel is a
very nice Resort Hotel in Cape Canaveral on the
east coast of Florida.
The hotel only 45 minutes away from Orlando
Int’l Airport and 35 minutes from Melbourne
Int’l Airport and 12 minutes from I-95 and
is
located close to some of Central
Florida’s most
popular
attractions: Approximately one hour from
Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Universal Studios
and Sea World. The hotel is also only about
20 minutes from The Kennedy Space Center, the
Astronauts Hall of Fame and the American Police
Hall of Fame & Museum. Here

The Radisson will provide drink specials from June 3, 2010
through June 7, 2010. The specials will be good at
the Flamingos Lounge, the Saturday banquet and
the pool bar. Group member must display name
tag to receive drink specials.

FOR THE WEEKEND PACKAGE
As in the past the committee has always worked to keep cost to a
minimum. I am proud to say that we have been able
to negotiate with the hotel for a rate that is
lower than the 2008 Reunion rate.

Includes Standard Room for two (2) nights (Friday and Saturday),
tax, 1 banquet dinner Saturday night.

or may stay a couple of days later. For

PATRICK TOWNSEND
MEMORIAL CLASSIC
The 6th Patrick Townsend Memorial Golf
Classic will be held Saturday June 5th at
the Four Star Turtle Creek Golf Club
The cost is $50.00 per person,
which includes all golf fees, team shirts, a
sleeve of golf balls, Prizes and trophies.
This is a mixed event. Ladies and your
guests are encouraged to play. We have made
reservations for ten teams, please reserve
early. The format will be a four-person scramble.
Please confirm any reservations with
John Caruso to avoid any double bookings or being
left out. Anyone interested should

Fraternal organizations, businesses, clubs and individuals may
promote their special interests, by sponsoring a
hole. Sponsors name will be displayed on all
dining tables during the reunion banquet and on
the NYC Transit Police Florida Reunion Web Page.
If you or your organization would like to be a
sponsor, please send a $25.00 check, per hole,
made out to NYCTP Florida Reunion, and mail

GAMBLING
CRUISE
For those people who will be arriving a day or so early we have
made arrangements with SunCruz Casino’s for our
group to go on a dinner cruise Thursday 6/3.
The SunCruz ship is only about 5 minutes from the
hotel. The cost will be $3.00 per person (Port
tax) and will include your boarding pass, dinner
buffet, free parking, (1) free welcome drink.
There will be free drinks while gambling.

PROCEDURES
Reservations may be made directly online by clicking HERE
This
is a private web page set up specifically for the
NYC Transit Police Florida Reunion. There are 2
rates, SNB1 = Standard Room and STE3 =
Suite.
After
you make your reservation, you
will receive a email confirmation. You
may also call 321-784-0000 to make reservations.
If you call for a reservation you must
identify yourself as part of the NYC
TRANSIT POLICE 2010 REUNION. Your
reservation will be held on a credit card and your
credit card will not be charged until you check
out after the reunion weekend. You will receive a
confirmation number after your reservation is

arrival and departure dates, Dinner Choice. If you
are planning to go on the gambling cruise we will
need to have the name and date of birth of each
person that will be boarding (Coast Guard
